Ted's Green House is a small family owned business that was
started in 1948 in Blue Island, Illinois, but its
roots go back to 1926 when it was started by
Ted's father. It started with less than 6,000 sq. ft. most of
which was used to grow starter plants for a 16
acre produce farm. In 1957 Ted's Green House moved to
Tinley Park, Illinois. With the construction of a
5,000 sq. ft. greenhouse and has grown to 100,000 sq. ft. plus
several acres of outdoor production. A portion of
this is devoted to the production of Cacti & Succulents. We
have for sale what we think is the finest
selection of Cacti & Succulents east of the Mississippi,
including
some rare and unusual varieties. We welcome
inquiries about availability and shipping and pricing. The
greenhouse in managed by Dan Biernacki, his wife
Karen and Ted Biernacki. We have over 100 combined
years of experience in growing and shipping of
plants.
